Stiffer, lighter, sharper — chopped carbon fiber transforms PLA into a proper engineering material.
PLA Carbon Fiber blends short-strand chopped carbon fiber into a standard PLA base. The result is meaningfully stiffer than unfilled PLA, slightly lighter, and comes off the printer with a sharp matte CF finish. No post-processing. It still prints at PLA temperatures with minimal fuss — just swap to a hardened nozzle first.

- Hardened steel nozzle required — carbon fiber is abrasive; brass nozzles wear out in hours
- ~20–30% stiffer than standard PLA — significantly reduced flex under load
- Matte CF surface finish — no sanding or painting needed for an engineered look
- Lighter than unfilled PLA — CF lowers density slightly
- Diameter tolerance: ±0.03mm | 1KG net weight
Best for: RC frames, drone arms, tool handles, camera mounts, rigid brackets, and anything where standard PLA flex is a problem but you want to stay at easy PLA temps. Recommended for printers with direct drive and a 0.4mm+ hardened nozzle.

Most PLA/PLA+ filaments do not require an enclosure. Higher-temp materials like ABS or ASA perform better with an enclosure.
Yes! Most of our standard filaments work well in Bowden setups. TPU requires a direct-drive extruder for best results.
